Ember Tetras are beautiful tetras with an amber orange coloration. Their color is very distinct and will standout any any planted aquarium. These stunning fish are are relatively small and can grow to a a max size at about 1 inch which makes them perfect for a planted nano aquarium. Like most Tetras, we recommend keeping these guys in groups of 5 or more for them to feel safe in a large school. They will look especially stunning in a planted tank. These fish are adult shrimp-safe, however, we recommend having sufficient plants or hiding spots for aquariums with both Ember Tetras and freshwater shrimp. Ember Tetras are pretty easy to care as long as they are introduced to a mature, cycled tank. They can acclimate to a wide range of parameters.
