Honda Element Style Revived in Whacky Concept

Honda Element Style Revived in Whacky Concept

Honda has debuted its “N-Box + Element” concept at the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon, marrying the design of the automaker’s compact N-One and the discontinued Element. The result is a rather strange, boxy design sitting on tiny wheels and a terribly disproportionate look. What it does feature is a highly functional interior, especially since Honda is billing the concept as a vehicle that can be used “actively in urban areas as well as in casual outdoor activities.”SEE ALSO: 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon CoverageThe rear hatch reveals a compartment meant for larger cargo like camping gear. The actual interior is very reminiscent of what the Element used to offer, which raises questions about whether or not the brand is having misgivings after killing the boxy car.
