Jürgen LINGL est un artiste hors du commun. Avec sa tronçonneuse et ses outils à bois il sait exalter le billot d'épicéas, lui donner une âme, un regard, une vie. Jürgen LINGL crée des oeuvres animalières plein d'émotions et de maitrise technique. Artiste complet, il peint et grave également. En 2003, le prix Paul-Louis Weiller de l’institut de France, et en 2005 le prix Edouard-Marcel Sandoz pour l’ensemble de son oeuvre animalière viennent couronner sa carrière de sculpteur.
