Get ready to chalk up, and hang on to your mug! The climber mug is a perfect gift for you or that special someone you know who loves rock climbing or bouldering. This unique design was originally inspired when I went searching for a gift for someone special to me, and I couldn't find anything that I was satisfied with. There were a few mugs available that had climbing holds glued or epoxied on in some fashion, and I made quite a few myself, but they always came apart eventually. So I figured how to mold the hold right onto a mug, and around the handle so the support is strong and sturdy and you don't have to worry about glue breaking and hot coffee in your lap! The porcelain mug is a 12 ounce Corelle Coordinates. The hold is made of the same material as, and made to simulate, modern climbing holds. Since each item is handmade and one of a kind, there will be slight variations but the quality remains. Due to the unique design and construction, it is advised to handwash only and do not microwave.
