Jericho Flowers are desert plants that grow in the Middle East and Central America. These plants will grow and reproduce until the environment no longer supports them. When the flowers and leaves die and fall to the ground they lose their moisture and curl up into a ball. Their roots are extracted from the soil so that the wind came blow them to more fertile grounds. Once they are watered the ball expands and they can continue to grow and reseed.
