After two months since the original posting, I have reworked the cable management system and came up with better and simpler 2nd edition which: - Does not have print-in-place joints that can be challenging to print - Does not require double sided tape, glue or screws - Assembles by simple attaching spring loaded parts Creality 3 S1 Pro has good cable management but it's still not ideal. The massive ribbon cable sticks out of the printer and makes clutter. The lot contains three STL files with a better cable management system. You can print them yourself, ask a friend to print them or order printing online. The parts print without support if oriented as pictured. Installation takes 10-15 min. Part 1. X axis motor 90º bracket It is a movable part, installed on the X motor on the gantry. Installation procedure is simple: - Remove two nuts using the Allen wrench and 7mm wrench that came with the printer - Disconnect the ribbon cable from the printing head - Attach the cable bracket - Reinstall the nuts and tighten them - Route the ribbon cable through the bracket and reconnect it to the printing head The part can be printed in PLA. PETG or any similar material. It prints with no supports if oriented as pictured. Parts 2 and 3. Vertical Cable Bracket This part holds the cable in a vertical position. It attaches to the printer with spring loaded clamps and can be removed without tools any time. - Once the parts are printed, carefully remove the brim, all stringing and other imperfections. This is crucial for sliding surfaces - Install all three cable brackets onto the rail by carefully sliding on. The cutout should be facing the rear of the printer. The tooth is facing the front of the printer. There are three marked spots for the brackets on the vertical rail. - Route the cable through three brackets The filament weight needed is around 77 g.
