Salted sardines and anchovies (Σαρδέλες) - Mia Kouppa
Loaded with strong flavor, Anchovies in Salt by Scalia taste the way they did in Ancient Rome. Our anchovies are a great addition to any dish or even just a healthy snack. They’re packed with lean protein and Omega-3 fatty acids and low in fat. Our anchovies come from the Scalia company in Sciacca on the Southwestern coast of Sicily. The fish are prepared immediately upon arrival to preserve their freshness and are prepared using techniques based on the old Mediterranean tradition.
