Bought this in July from in an attempt to improve the disappointing infotainment experience on my 2021 Ridgeline BE. Connectivity from my iPhone to the Ottocast consistently worked reliably, but the glitchy CarPlay disconnects unfortunately persisted. After a month of trying, I gave up on CarPlay altogether. In my opinion, the issues are due to Hondas lack of investment in their software rather than anything innate to CarPlay or the Ottocast. I’ve used both wireless and wired CarPlay in BMW, Toyota and VW vehicles regularly since 2015 and it has worked flawlessly in them all. Knowing some others have had good luck using Ottocast in the Ridgeline, here’s your chance to try it out for cheap. $30 shipped to the lower 48. Software version is 22072111.1501.2. Doesn’t include factory box or manual.
