Un assemblage de notes chocolatées et légèrement fumées d'une maturité de 18 ans.
En 1801, les deux frères John et James Chivas ont ouvert une épicerie fine sur la côte nord de l'Écosse, à Aberdeen. Ils y offraient une variété de délices provenant des quatre coins du monde – mais aucun whisky n’était disponible. Ainsi, ils ont commencé sans plus tarder à créer leur propre assemblage. En 1891, ils ont développé le Chivas Regal. Le "Chivas Regal 18 Years" est un assemblage de whiskys Single Malt écossais et de whiskys de grain sélectionnés, tous âgés d'au moins 18 ans. L'ingrédient principal est un whisky de la distillerie Strathisla.
