The Extech by FLIR 1000A clamp meter plus IR thermometer is ideal for industrial applications. The clamp-on tool's IR thermometer with laser pointer is an excellent troubleshooter for locating hot spots and overheating motors. Clamp measures AC current up to 1000A with a maximum resolution of 0.1A. The 1.7 jaw fits around conductors up to 750MCM. Peak hold captures motor inrush currents and other surges.
